Student Artwork Debuts on Recycling Truck
Congratulations to August, Beatrice, and Lailah, winners of the City and District 65's Recycling Truck Student Art Design Competition! Their vibrant artwork promoting battery safety and proper recycling practices is featured on a City recycling truck making its way around Evanston. Learn more.
Don't forget: Placing batteries in recycling carts can lead to fires at recycling facilities, posing a danger to workers and the environment. Instead, take them to a retail store or recycling center that accepts them.
