The Revised Comprehsive Plan is Now Available
We are happy to share that a revised draft comprehensive plan has been released.
Go to the homepage of the Envision Evanston 2045 website and click "New Draft Plan"!
This version will be discussed at the Land Use Commission on Wednesday, February 26, at 6 p.m. at the Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave. Please plan to attend and provide your feedback. If you are unable to attend in person, you can share feedback via our online public comment form.
Looking Ahead
The City Council has extended the timeline for the Land Use Commission to review a new zoning code once the comprehensive plan has been approved. Therefore, the draft zoning code and map have been removed from the website since they reflect the first draft of the comprehensive plan. The Envision Evanston 2045 team will restart community engagement and release new drafts of the zoning code and map based on the approved comprehensive plan. Be on the lookout for engagement events once the process restarts!
