 In an effort to maintain track along the CTA Purple Line, the Chicago Transit Authority will be performing track maintenance on the Purple Line between Linden and Howard stations. Work will take place beginning 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 24 and continue through 4:30 a.m. on Monday, November 25.
Noise is expected while work is being performed and may include engine rumbling, beeping, flagging horns, metal material handling, etc.
Bus Substitution Shuttle buses will replace rail service between Linden and Howard during this time. Shuttle buses will make stops near Dempster, Foster, and Noyes stations and direct stops at South Boulevard, Main, Davis, Central, and Linden stations.
