City Announces “Holiday Parking: Free for 2024” Promotion
EVANSTON, IL - The City of Evanston is making local holiday shopping easier this year by offering a “Holiday Parking: Free for 2024” promotion. Community members and visitors to Evanston’s business districts will enjoy up to two hours of free parking daily from November 27, 2024, through January 1, 2025.
This offer is valid for Park Evanston app users once per day per account/license plate. Users can simply enter the code "Holiday2024" to access two hours of free street parking, making it convenient for them to explore and support Evanston businesses during the holiday season.
“Continuing this program will empower our business districts to thrive with the vibrant presence of our community members and visitors, allowing holiday shoppers to enjoy two hours of worry-free parking. We encourage our community to gather with family and friends, inviting them to experience the joy of shopping and dining in our business districts," said City Manager Luke Stowe.
To access this promotion, follow these easy steps:
Step 1: Download the Park Evanston app, available for both iOS and Android devices
Step 2: Start your parking session through the app
Step 3: Tap "Redeem" and enter the validation code: Holiday2024
Note that terms and conditions may apply, and the offer has no cash value except where required by law. Free parking is only available through the mobile app. Payment is required if using a pay box.
