Project Description
The Bent Park Field House, a multi-purpose all-season facility used for children’s programs, sustained significant fire damage in 2022. To allow the facility to reopen for public use, the city is performing a renovation project.
The work will include:
- Replacing the roofing system
- Correcting deficiencies in the exterior envelope
- Improving ADA accessibility
- Replacing damaged mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Converting the building to all-electric with no on-site carbon emissions in accordance with the Climate Action and Resilience Plan (CARP)
Project Schedule
This project is anticipated to begin in Fall 2024 and be completed in Summer 2025.
Contractor
The project’s general contractor is Ampol International Inc., 521 Santa Rosa Drive, Des Plaines, Illinois 60018.
