Annual Sewer Cleaning: Contract Work to Begin October 14, Targeting Northwest Evanston

The City has an Annual Sewer Cleaning Program with the goal of cleaning all combined sewers every four years. This is an important program necessary to maintain the reliability of our stormwater and wastewater systems. Work is scheduled to begin October 14 and be completed by December 20, weather permitting.

The contractor hired to supplement the City’s cleaning crew this year is Pipe View America. The contractor will be focusing their cleaning efforts in the northwest portion of the city.
