The City of Evanston, Evanston Chamber of Commerce, and Evanston Community Bank & Trust have partnered to host a series of FREE workshops designed for Evanston’s small business owners and entrepreneurs.
The series, titled “Empowering Small Businesses,” features five sessions focused on varied topics. Each workshop will feature a presentation by local experts, followed by Q&A. Participants are welcome to come to all of the workshops in the series, or to pick and choose the sessions and topics that are most applicable for you!
The workshop schedule is as follows:
October 2: Business Formation: How Entity Choice and Structure Impacts Your Business, presented by Jessica Oldani of Oldani Entrepreneurial Law, P.C.
October 9: Mastering Digital Marketing – Social Media & LinkedIn Best Practices, presented by Patricia J. Pickett, APR of Pickett & Associates and Anna Kate Anderson
October 16: From Plan to Profit: Mapping Out Your Business Future, presented by Michael Van of Levelate
October 23: Foundation of Financial Success: Accounting Essentials for Small Business Growth, presented by Haha Alibhai of Radius Consultants
October 30: When Should I Consider Taking on Debt, presented by Meghan Pulver and Don Cortelyou of Evanston Community Bank & Trust
All workshops will take place at Evanston Community Bank & Trust, located at 901 Grove St., from 9 to10:30 a.m. every Wednesday in October. Coffee and light bites provided. Please register if you plan to attend.
