The Clark and Dempster St. Beach Offices are now closed for the 2024 summer season. Dempster St. and Church St. Boat Launches will remain open, but unstaffed through October 23. For lakefront park picnic permits, please contact the Ecology Center at 847-448-8256.
Swimming is strictly prohibited at all beaches at all times. No lifeguards are on duty. Lake Michigan is a dangerous body of water; do not enter. In case of emergency, call 911. The sand area will remain open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
 Vendors Needed for Trunk or Treat
We need YOU to help make our Trunk or Treat event a spooktacular success! We're seeking creative and festive vehicles to join in the fun. Whether you're a local business or organization, we'd love to have you decorate your trunk and hand out treats to our community's little ghosts and goblins.

 Volunteers Needed for Zombie Scramble
Help support our 9th annual Zombie Scramble on October 19 by volunteering to help with the event. Register to volunteer.

We want your feedback: Your experiences and insights are essential in helping us to create a more user-friendly and accessible website for everyone. Please take 15 minutes to complete our community website surveys, available in both English and Spanish by September 13.
