City to Host Emergency Preparedness Fair, September 28

EVANSTON, IL - Evanston community members can ensure their households are ready for the next emergency by attending the Evanston Fire Department's Office of Emergency Management's free Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday, September 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Robert Crown Community Center.
Representatives from the City and other local organizations will offer resources and information, highlighting opportunities designed to build preparedness and offer assistance before, during, and after an emergency. The fair will offer information sessions, live drone and canine demonstrations, and touch-a-truck opportunities.
Preparedness materials from the event will also be available online on the Office of Emergency Management webpage or may be requested in person at the Evanston Fire Department Headquarters (909 Lake Street).
