To enhance the user experience on the City's website, we've begun a comprehensive website audit and redesign process that prioritizes ADA accessibility features.
We want your feedback: Your experiences and insights are essential in helping us create a more user-friendly and accessible website for everyone. Please take 15 minutes to complete our community website surveys, available in both English and Spanish by September 13.

Help us "Save Our Lake"

Last year, the City asked Evanston youth to submit designs to adorn one of its recycling trucks. While 8th-grade Liyana’s Jaws-inspired design wasn’t selected, it was so creative that we adapted it for another use, beach litter stations. Beach-goers can check out Liyana's design at Lighthouse Beach and Clark Street Beach, and grab a bucket to help keep our beaches pristine and “Save Our Lake!”
Liyana chose this design to highlight how plastic waste harms not just fish and marine life, but humans too, with lasting effects on our future.
That’s it for today's e-news. Thanks for reading!
Sincerely,
The City of Evanston Communications Team
