5th & 2nd Ward Neighborhood Cleanup

The City, in coordination with WM, will be placing dumpsters in various locations around the 5th & 2nd Wards to help neighbors properly dispose of accumulated rubbish and garbage. Dumpster will be at the following locations from Friday, August 23 through Sunday, August 25. 

5th Ward Locations:

• Emerson & Hovland
• On Foster at Dodge
• Ashland & Lyons
• Simpson & Brown
• Leland (Between Church & Emerson)
• Foster between Wesley and Jackson

A couple reminders...

• Do not leave items outside of the dumpster. Once a dumpster is full, additional items will not be collected.
• Please do not place hazardous materials in the dumpster, such as paint, chemicals or other items.
• Tires, electronics, and yard waste materials are not permitted. 

Get ready for a clutter-free fall

The City offers the free removal of up to six cubic yards of bulk garbage twice a year as part of the Bulk Trash Pickup program. Fall bulk trash pickups will take place on Fridays, Aug. 23 through Sept. 20, and are scheduled according to your normal refuse pickup day. Don't miss this convenient opportunity to tidy up your space.

Northwestern University will also be sponsoring extra fall bulk pickup dates in portions of the 5th Ward on September 17, 19, 24, and 26. View the extra pickup boundaries below:
