Hey 2nd To None 2nd Ward resident!
We will not have a 2nd Ward meeting for the month of July. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m., in room B/C of the Robert Crown Community Center.

I hope you all are enjoying your summer. Please take the opportunity to experience all that Evanston has to offer, including concerts, festivals, movie nights, and more. We also host a weekly Starlight Concert Series that rotates through the city. Amazing music, plenty of residents to mingle with, and usually good weather.

 Second Installment Property Tax Bills Due Aug. 1
Property owners are encouraged to review their 2023 Second Installment Property Tax Bill, now available online. The Cook County Treasurer's Office mailed paper copies of the bills on July 1, with payments due by August 1.
The Second Installment Property Tax Bill provides a comprehensive breakdown of taxing districts specific to an area. It includes information on tax rates, assessment changes, and potential savings from exemptions.

The City, in coordination with WM, will be placing dumpsters in various locations around the 2nd and 5th Wards to help neighbors properly dispose of accumulated rubbish and garbage. Dumpsters will be out for use Friday, August 23 through Sunday, August 25.
Guidelines:

Do not leave items outside of the dumpster. Once a dumpster is full, additional items will not be collected.

Please do not add hazardous materials to the dumpsters, such as paint, chemicals, and other items.

Tires are not permitted.
