National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes public safety, community partnerships, and neighborhood camaraderie to help make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places.
The City’s Parks & Recreation Department has partnered with the Evanston Police Department to host this family-friendly evening as a part of the “My City, Your City, Our City'' initiative. The event will feature delicious food trucks, fun games, and a special movie screening of PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. Evanston Police Officers will be onsite with NNO giveaways.
The featured movie will begin at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and snacks to enjoy the film.
In a show of unity, community members are also asked to turn on their front porch lights that evening.
