The City will begin making improvements to a southern portion of the James Park bike path near Mulford Street the first week of June. The project is anticipated to be completed by early July 2024.
Work will include removal and replacement of the asphalt bike path, tree plantings, and site restoration. View a map of the construction work area (shown in red):

The contractor for this project is Chicagoland Paving Contractors Inc., 225 Telser Road, Lake Zurich, IL.
