 The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the Cook County area. The Tornado Watch is in effect until 8 p.m.
What you can do:

Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

Report power outages. Check ComEd’s Outage Map for power outages in your area. Report any outages online or by calling 1-800-EDISON-1. In the event of a downed power line, call ComEd immediately.

Report downed trees, flooding and other non-emergency issues to 311. Call or text 847-448-4311 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. or submit a service request online at cityofevanston.org/311 any time.

Dial 911 to report an emergency. Always call 911 to report an immediate threat to life or safety.
