Hi 2nd Ward Residents, 

The upcoming 2nd Ward Meeting will take place in a virtual format on
Thursday, Jan. 25, at 6:30 p.m. We will discuss issues affecting our community and your input is essential!

Guests:

• Cook County Commissioner Josina Morita, who will introduce herself and share news from the Cook County Commissioner’s Office.

• Sergeant Scott Sophier of the EPD Traffic Management Bureau, who will share a presentation and PSA on driving safety.

• Officer Otha Brooks and Officer Nathaniel Basner, who will go over community safety measures, and answer any questions or public safety concerns. 

Meeting topics:

• Updates from the 2nd Ward: Hear about recent developments, ongoing projects, and initiatives aimed at improving our community.

• Community Feedback Session: Share your thoughts, concerns, and suggestions on issues that matter most to you. 

• 2nd Ward Events and Initiatives: Learn about upcoming local events, workshops, and opportunities for community involvement.

• The CTA has scheduled a new date of Thursday, Feb. 1, at 6 p.m., for the RPM Next Phases Study virtual public meeting, which was postponed in November. View the direct meeting link.
