Wild Weekends
Bats, snakes, spiders, and skunks...oh my! During the Halloween season, some amazing and beneficial animals get a bad rap. The Ecology Center will be partnering with a wildlife education organization to meet a variety of these awesome and often misunderstood creatures and learn why it’s important to protect them. Come meet bats, snakes, spiders, and more. You may even get the chance to pet a skunk! To register, please call the Ecology Center at 847-448-8256 or register online. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Come out to the Levy Senior Center on Sunday, Nov. 5, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos. Before the Mariachi Sirenas performance, there will be arts and crafts projects, such as creating a DIY shoebox ofrenda.
