City Shares Completed Independent Ryan Field Economic Impact Study
 EVANSTON, IL - The City's contracted firm, C.H. Johnson Consulting, Inc., has completed its independent economic impact study, which analyzed the projected economic impacts of the Ryan Field proposal.
On February 22, 2023, the City's Economic Development Committee authorized staff to issue requests for proposals (RFPs) to conduct this analysis.
The scope of the analysis included:

Critical analysis of the university’s economic impact study by Tripp Umbach from November 2022

Local economic, fiscal, and employment impacts - positive and negative

Review of the stadium’s viability as a concert venue with special attention placed on attendees' transportation preferences
On May 8, 2023, the City Council awarded the contract to C.H. Johnson Consulting, Inc. to conduct the study.
