 Labor Day holiday weekend schedule
The City has announced facility closures and service schedules for the Labor Day holiday weekend, Sat., Sept. 2 through Mon., Sept. 4.
Refuse collection: No collections will occur on Monday. Monday through Thursday collections will be delayed by one day next week.
Beach hours: Monday is the final day of the 2023 swimming beach season. Check the City's website for swim and beach status updates before you head to the lake.

Participatory Budgeting Election: Sign up to vote!
 Back-to-school block party, September 7
Celebrate the back-to-school season at the 'Kits, 'Cats and Kids Block Party on Thurs., Sept. 7, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event will be held adjacent to ETHS's Lazier Field, at Church Street and Hartrey Avenue.
Free outdoor activities for all ages: Enjoy games, music, inflatables, the ETHS and NU marching bands, a rousing pep rally, and plenty of delicious food truck options!

Fall bulk trash pickups begin September 15
Get ready for a clutter-free fall season with the City's Fall Bulk Trash Pickup program! Beginning September 15, the City is offering the free removal of up to six cubic yards of bulk garbage on Fridays through October 6. Bulk pickups are scheduled according to residents’ normal refuse pickup day.
