All Evanston Beaches Closed To Swimming Today Due to Elevated Bacteria Levels

EVANSTON, IL - Due to elevated and unsafe bacteria levels, all Evanston beaches are closed to swimming again today, Wednesday, July 5. The sand portion of all beaches will remain open. The Evanston Dog Beach will also remain closed today.

To stay up to date on the status of beach closures, visit cityofevanston.org/beaches and sign up for text/email alerts. For more information, please call/text 847-448-4311. For convenience, residents may simply dial 3-1-1 in Evanston.
