Inspire Through Flowers makes its 20,000th delivery
Levy Senior Center's group, Inspire Through Flowers, made a wonderful milestone recently with their 20,000th flower delivery. Inspire Through Flowers enriches our community and embraces sustainability by creating and personally delivering beautiful flower bouquets assembled from donated flowers. They bring their bouquets to healthcare patients and staff in hospitals, nursing homes, and veteran facilities, as well as to other community groups such as essential workers, refugees, and women and children in shelters.

The next Starlight Concert is June 27
Featuring nine free concerts at park locations throughout the city, the Starlight Concert Series is back to bring you outdoor music on Tuesday nights through August 8.
Up next on the big stage: Head to Baker Park on Tuesday, June 27 at 7 p.m. for the next Starlight Concert of the season! Bring your lawn chair and be ready for The Dig 3 including guest vocalist, Miss Lauren Dukes. Enjoy music by The Dig 3

Oak Street Health
Oak Street Health will come to the Levy Senior Center lobby on June 27, June 29 and July 5 from 10 a.m. to noon to share information on how to maximize your health by doing preventative care.
Thrive with Pride June Cafe- ‘What Does PRIDE Mean to You?’
In honor of Pride Month, please join us for an open discussion of what PRIDE means to each of us!
This event is an opportunity to meet and greet with other Thrive with Pride participants and partners. Get to know each other better and celebrate in community.

Farmers Market transportation for seniors
Do you want to go to the Farmer's Market but don't have a way to get there and back? Did you know that you can double your link card when you buy vegetables and fruit from the market as the market does matching funds for fruits and veggies?
The Levy Senior Center has your solution! Call the front desk at 847-448-8250 the Friday before you would like to go between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pickups on the following Saturdays: July 8, and July 22. The pickup times will start at 9 a.m. to take you to the market.
Take charge of your health with Bingo
The Levy Senior Center has partnered with Age Options on Fri., July 14 at 10 a.m. to bring in Senior Medicare Patrol to help you learn more about Medicare fraud. We will also be offering a Take Charge of your Health Information Session, which will give tools and strategies to help you live life fully in the face of chronic illnesses.
Disco in the Park
Put on your boogie shoes and hustle on over to the Levy Senior Center on Fri., Aug. 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for a night you won’t forget. Take a walk down memory lane and enjoy the best of 70’s music from our local DJ.
Levy Café
