Dear 8th Ward Residents,
This is a friendly reminder that our rescheduled 8th Ward meeting will take place tomorrow, Thurs., April 27. We are excited to host this meeting in person at Peckish Pig, 623 Howard St., with a virtual option available for those who prefer to join remotely.
We have a comprehensive agenda planned for tomorrow's meeting, which includes:

One Howard Collaboration: Representatives will discuss the ongoing efforts to improve the Howard retail corridor and enhance economic development in collaboration with Chicago.

Okay Dispensary/Westtown Bakery Proposal: Learn about the new dispensary proposal at Howard Street and Chicago Avenue and share your thoughts or concerns with the representatives.

Summer Youth Programming: Parks and Recreation Director Audrey Thompson will provide updates on various summer camps and activities for young residents.

Public Safety: Officer Brooks will discuss public safety issues in the 8th Ward and provide updates on initiatives aimed at keeping our community safe.

Open Forum for Residents: We invite all residents to participate in an open forum to voice concerns, share ideas, or ask questions about issues affecting our community.
Your attendance and input are invaluable as we work together to address the needs of our community. Whether you choose to join us in person or virtually, we encourage you to make your voice heard and help shape the future of the 8th Ward.
