Vaccine Clinic
The Levy Senior Center has teamed up with Jewel Osco Pharmacy to host a vaccine clinic on Thursday, April 13 from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants are able to choose from the Shingles, Pneumonia or Tetanus vaccines. Call the Levy front desk at 847-448-8250 to make an appointment.
Science with Seniors
Each month, graduate students from Northwestern University visit the Levy Senior Center to discuss different science topics. This month, they will be discussing the topics of Plasma Green Chemistry on Thurs., April 13 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Presenters will be joining in-person. Registration is required by calling the Levy front desk at 847-448-8250.

Registration for the Aging Well Conference
The Aging Well Conference will take place on Friday, May 5 at the Levy Senior Center from 8 a.m.to 1 p.m. This free, half-day conference for older persons and their care partners presents an array of educational workshops on topics including health and wellness, safety, nutrition, technology, legal issues, financial planning, and the arts.
The conference will open with registration and a continental breakfast at 8 a.m., followed by a welcome from Mayor Daniel Biss, and a keynote address by Paula Basta, director for the Illinois Department on Aging.
Attendees are then invited to participate in two workshop sessions. The conference will conclude with lunch and a celebration of the Aging Well Award Recipients for 2020 (Susan Cherco) and 2023.

Levy Senior Center Book Club
Come join our book club at the Levy Senior Center on Thurs., March 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the library.
April Finance Series
The topic for January is "2022's economic challenges (and opportunities) that are still in play here in the beginning of 2023." Other topics will also include retirement funds, children and their inheritance, the Secure 2.0 Act and Backdoor Roth IRA for high earners. All adults ages 50 and over are welcome to attend. This seminar is sponsored and led by Neil Gardner of Edward Jones Financial in Skokie and is offered via Zoom. To register, please call the Levy Senior Center at 847-448-8250.

Greg Whalen Magic Show
Professional magician Greg Whalen, who has performed on television, in nightclubs, and off-Broadway, will entertain in the Levy Senior Center's Library Room on Wednesday, April 26 at 1 p.m. Greg's 40-minute magic show is friendly, upbeat, and filled with lots of comedy, stories and magical surprises! Seating is limited, so reservations are encouraged. Please call 847-448-8250.

Pickleball court rentals - book your court today!
The Levy Center is holding open pickleball court rentals on Mondays and Wednesdays through April 19 from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. with one hour time slots. Call the Levy front desk at 847-448-8250 to sign up and pay for your court rental today.
Levy Café

Intermediate Spanish Conversation Group
Come join the Immediate Spanish Conversation Group in the Library on Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m. Students must have studied Spanish as the group conversations are spoken in Spanish.
Fran Randall Concert
The Levy Senior Center Foundation is proud to bring the talents of young, award-winning classical musicians to the Levy Senior Center. The outstanding lineup continues to honor the memory of Fran Randall who loved classical music and played an important role in opening the current center. The concert will take place on Fri., May 19 at 1:30 p.m.
Hoops for the Ages 3 on 3 tournament
Calling all ballers ages 40 and older to sign up for the Hoops for the Ages 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Sat., May 6. Register online.
