EVANSTON, ILL. – The Evanston Public Library Board of Trustees has issued a request for proposals for an executive search firm to guide its search for a new Library Executive Director.

The Board has been engaged in a thoughtful and deliberate approach to the search for a new executive director, including soliciting feedback from community stakeholders in anticipation of soliciting a search firm.
A request for proposals is available on the Library’s Director Search page. Proposals are due by March 9, 2023. Proposals and questions may be submitted to librarydirectorsearch@cityofevanston.org.
