 Black History Month continues!
Celebrate and recognize Black History Month in Evanston this February by participating in community events and activities or support a local black owned business by using one of these resources.
 New downtown restaurants coming soon!
Watch for Soli Grill, coming soon to Bat 17, located at 1709 Benson. They will be expanding their offerings to include vegan items. Also, Thomas and Dutch, formerly Farmhouse, will open with a brand new concept. Read more about both restaurants.
Evanston Arts Council Seeks Applicants For Annual Cultural Fund Grant
As a part of the Evanston Arts Council's Cultural Fund Grant program, individual artists, non-profits, and community organizations are invited to apply for up to $4,000 to support specific cultural programs and/or general operations. The application deadline is April 1, 2023.
Applicants can attend one of two free Virtual Cultural Fund Grant Information Sessions:

 CTA and Pace announce new integrated, unlimited-ride passes
CTA and Pace announced a new initiative to make traveling to Evanston and other surrounding suburbs easier than ever before. Beginning Monday, February 20, all newly purchased passes, including 1-Day and 3-Day unlimited-ride passes will be accepted on Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and now Pace Suburban Bus.  Cashless Establishments Ordinance
The City hosted a meeting to solicit feedback regarding Ordinance 2-O-23, Amending the City Code, “Creating Title 12" Consumer Protections" Chapter 1, Cashless Establishments Prohibited. If you did not attend, watch the meeting and provide any feedback or comments through the survey.

- Your business must be located in Evanston and registered. If you're not registered, complete your business registration application
- Submission must be an event. We don't promote sales or individual business advertisement
- Submission must include a flyer and website where interested residents can get more information
