ComEd to Conduct Tree Trimming In Several Evanston Locations

ComEd has notified the City that it will be conducting tree trimming and vegetation management in portions of Evanston over the next several months. This work is done to ensure system reliability and prevent power outages.

Locations

Vegetation management is planned for several locations in the following areas:

Map 1 - Greenleaf St. between Dodge and Asbury Ave.
Map 2 - McDaniel Ave. north of Elgin Rd.
Map 3 - North of Emerson St. between Brown and Jackson Ave.
Map 4 - Northeast Evanston

All work is performed by trained, qualified arborists. In some cases, tree removal may be required.

ComEd has notified affected property owners. Community members may contact ComEd at 1-800-EDISON1 (800-334-7661) with questions or concerns.
