Join Central Street Evanston for the annual Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting event on tomorrow, November 12. Enjoy a memorable day of shopping and dining, special entertainment, surprises, holiday cheer, and a visit from Santa...of course! Shops open at 10 a.m. with special promotions throughout the day, followed by a holiday tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. in Independence Park. AMC Evanston 12 officially opened its doors in downtown Evanston on Wed., Nov. 9 ahead of the holiday movie season! Construction will continue on the soon-to-be-remodeled concession area, but movies are back up on the big screen.
