5th Ward! Share your thoughts to help Evanston Thrive!
The City of Evanston needs your help to make sure Evanston's business districts thrive! As your Councilmember, your voice is especially important to me because the 5th Ward is typically underrepresented in City surveys. We appreciate your feedback and we commit to utilize the information provided to build stronger business corridors within the 5th Ward and throughout the City.
The Evanston Thrives Retail District Action Plan is a highly focused, community engagement and business district market analysis to improve the quality and mix of retail, food and entertainment offerings in Evanston’s eight business districts.
How can we protect and reinforce the city’s most precious assets at the neighborhood level? How can we reimagine our business districts, balancing market realities with bold and creative design? How can we ensure more equitable investment and support for local businesses?
Share your thoughts by participating in the community survey and don’t forget to check out the storefront activations throughout the city!
Notice of cancellation: Redistricting meeting on October 5
The City is canceling tonight’s Redistricting Committee meeting and rescheduling it for January 24, 7 p.m., at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center (Room 2404). The Redistricting Committee has reserved the January 24 meeting to hear from 5th Ward residents about the process of redrawing our ward boundary. Sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused you and please update your calendars appropriately.
