![Ward 2 October collage](https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/fancy_images/ILEVANSTON/2022/10/6526116/4355645/my-project-1_crop.png) Greetings!
It's been a pleasure getting to know so many of our 2nd Ward neighbors and City staff at community events this fall, including Bike the Ridge and the First Responders Open House.
Monthly Ward Meetings
I am in the process of scheduling our monthly ward meetings. It is my hope to have the meeting location rotate throughout the ward, so I am working with staff to get this scheduled and will communicate times and locations for the remainder of the year. Please stay tuned.

Who are the people in your neighborhood/ward?
![2nd Ward map](https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/fancy_images/ILEVANSTON/2022/07/6174001/4354944/ward2_crop.png) Do you remember the songs from Sesame Street: "Who Are the People in Your Neighborhood" or the "Places in Our Neighborhood"? Well I do.
I believe our lives are relational and the more we get to know people, the more fulfilling our experiences in Evanston will be. I am encouraging and asking 2nd Ward residents/businesses to submit a photo and a short bio that can be featured in each newsletter. Who wants to go first?
Please send photos/bios to me at kharris@cityofevanston.org.
