Evanston Police Investigate August 3 Bank Robbery

EVANSTON, IL - On August 3, 2022, at approximately 5:45 p.m. Evanston Police responded to the Jewel-Osco Huntington Bank branch in the 2400 block of Howard Street for a bank robbery. The offender brandished a knife and demanded cash from the teller. The offender then fled the scene. There were no reported injuries in this incident.

Offender Description

• Male/White
• Height: 5'5" to 5'9" 
• Weight: 200-240 lbs.
• Age: 35 - 50 years of age
• Hair: Short blond hair; possible reddish blond facial hair
• Clothing: black baseball hat with a red bull logo, black sunglasses, black sweatshirt with the white outline of a leaping cat, blue pants, blue surgical mask, and gray gloves
