Good morning,
Check out this week’s Levy Senior Center e-News featuring information about Parks & Recreation Month, new staff, a Memorial Blood Drive and more!
July is Parks and Recreation Month
This Park and Recreation Month, we are bringing attention to how important it is to rise up and support parks and recreation, because every day, park and recreation professionals rise up for their communities in service of equity, climate-readiness, and overall health and well-being.
Welcome to the team!
Hi, my name is Connor Schwarz and I’m the new Recreation Program Coordinator at the Levy Senior Center. I will be overseeing senior trips, congregate meal program, SHIP, senior groups, art, and music classes/programs as well as helping plan senior special events at Levy. I graduated in May, 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Parks & Recreation Leadership. Prior to the Levy Senior Center I was with the Barrington Park District for 8 years overseeing youth and adult programming. When I’m not at the Levy Senior Center I enjoy fishing, kayaking and spending time with my family. I look forward to meeting all of you and being a part of a great community!"
