Reminder: Ticket Validation Required for Free Garage Parking at The Market

Garage Parking Fees Apply for Those Without Ticket Validation

As a friendly reminder to our wonderful Downtown Evanston Farmers’ Market visitors, free parking continues to be available in the Maple Avenue Parking Garage for those who validate their parking at the City of Evanston Market tent.

How to get free parking

Bring the ticket you receive upon entering the Maple Avenue garage to the City of Evanston tent at the Market. There you can validate your parking ticket so that you can exit for free after visiting.

When exiting the Maple Avenue garage in your vehicle, simply insert your validated parking ticket into the machine at the gate and the gate will open for you.

Garage parking fees apply for non-validated tickets

As of January 1, 2022, free garage parking is no longer available for parking visits of less than one hour. The City of Evanston’s current garage parking rates are $1 for up to the first hour of parking and $3 for visits of one to two hours. View garage rates.
