Northwestern Research Lecture: Aphasia
Last month, Bruce Willis’ family announced he has aphasia. Many of you may be wondering: “What is aphasia?” Dr. Elena Barbieri and Brianne Chiappetta from the Aphasia and Neurolinguistics Research Laboratory at Northwestern University, will discuss what aphasia is (and what it isn’t), what can cause aphasia, and how it is treated. To register, please call the Levy Senior Center at 847-448-8250.

Figure Drawing for Everyone
Register for the upcoming new session of Figure Drawing for Everyone which begins on Friday, May 20.
Congregate Meal Program is open for in-person dining
The Levy Senior Center is serving hot meals Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-pack frozen meals on Tuesdays. Apply online to join the Senior Congregate Meal Program. To learn more, call the Levy Senior Center front desk at 847-448-8250.
 The Levy Lecture Series is a free program featuring top lecturers, authors and entertainers for residents 55 and over, who are passionate about learning. Lectures are bi-monthly via Zoom on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. Register and you will receive an email with easy-to-follow steps. Sponsored by the Levy Senior Center Foundation.

Enjoy the musical talents of three performers on Friday, May 20 at 1:30 p.m. At this time, this concert is scheduled to be held in-person at the Levy Senior Center.
