Special Margarita Inn meeting on Sunday, office hours Saturday
Greetings neighbors,
During the COVID-19 pandemic the Margarita Inn (1566 Oak Ave.) has been used to house families and individuals in need. Connections for the Homeless, the organization operating the facility, has expressed a desire to make this arrangement permanent.
I’m hosting a community meeting Sunday so we can learn more about the proposal and share feedback with decision makers. Connections for the Homeless staff and others will be on hand to answer questions.
Special Meeting Details: Sunday, March 13 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church 1509 Ridge Ave.
Also, a quick reminder that I’ll be at Berry Pike Café, 1100 Davis St., this Saturday, March 12 from 10 a.m. to noon for regular monthly office hours.
I hope to see you soon!
With regards,
Jonathan Nieuwsma Councilmember, 4th Ward jnieuwsma@cityofevanston.org www.cityofevanston.org
