We're feeling Supercharged!
The City celebrated the newly installed Tesla "Supercharger" Station on the second level of the Maple Avenue Parking Garage with a ribbon cutting ceremony last week.
This 12-port electric vehicle charging station was fully funded by Tesla and is the first "Supercharger" in Evanston, supporting the City's commitment to sustainable infrastructure.
The new supercharger is part of the Parking Division's efforts to encourage better use of underutilized spaces, including parking garages, and to help meet the goals of the Climate Action and Resilience Plan. More EV charging stations will be added at City garages throughout the year, as well as additional bike parking and maintenance stations. Find a charging station.
That’s it for today's e-news. Thanks for reading!
Sincerely,
The City of Evanston Communications Team
