Neighborhood Meeting Announcements
Dear neighbors,
I’m proud to live in a community that’s committed to taking care of people who need help, and I know that many of you feel the same way. At the same time we need to make sure we all have a pleasant quality of life in our neighborhoods and our business districts are welcoming destinations. I’ve heard from many of you who have observed an increase in aggressive panhandling and other antisocial behavior around Evanston, wondering what the City can do about, and/or wondering what you can do to help. To address these concerns we’ll be holding two neighborhood meetings in addition to our regular ward meeting. We’ll be joined by the Evanston Police Department and staff from both the City’s Health and Human Services Department and Connections for the Homeless.
