The Levy Senior Center Team
About Fran Randall
Fran Randall was the chairperson for the Levy Senior Center Building Fund Committee. She labored tirelessly to raise funds for the new senior center facility. She worked closely with Bernard J. Dobroski, former dean of Northwestern University's nationally noted School of Music. Ms. Randall and Mr. Dobroski worked on an outreach project as Northwestern University and Levy Senior Center joined forces to provide music to the aging population. The Levy Seniors Center’s Steinway grand piano had complete restoration and refinishing work. It was their vision to have college music student’s play for seniors on the grand piano. Ms. Randall passed away in December 2003 but her dream came true in the Fall of 2004. Music students from colleges and universities are invited to be apart of this music series in Evanston. All concerts will include the Levy Senior Center's 85-year old grand piano.
