Linden Room renovation continues...
Last week, new drywall and insulation was installed. Taping, mudding, and sanding will continue to prepare for the installation of the new room divider. Thank you to the fundraising efforts of the Levy Senior Center Foundation and all the generous donors!
The staff at the Levy Senior Center would like to send an enormous thank you to all the AARP Tax-Aide volunteers who prepared and filed over 175 individual income tax returns.
"The volunteers who came out and braved the COVID-19 pandemic to help our older adults are truly remarkable. Without our volunteers, many of our older residents and members would've had to seek paid professional assistance or try to file online. The volunteers filed over 175 returns at no cost to seniors. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Pat U. and the entire tax-aide team, who helped so many this year," said Tim Carter, Levy Senior Center Program Coordinator.
Finally, do you need to renew your Levy Senior Center membership? Renew now.
Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful week!
