7th Ward Meeting
Meeting to Share Canal Shores Plans, March 31
Dear Neighbors,
Additional planning is underway at Canal Shores, and I invite you to join me for a presentation and discussion about these plans on Wednesday, March 31, at 7 p.m.
- Canal Shores and Northwestern University are working on arrangements for tailgating and parking for the fall 2021 football season. Under discussion is a proposal to provide parking on two new areas of the golf course: holes 14 & 15.
- SPACE, the live music venue on Chicago Avenue, is making arrangements for its popular OUT OF SPACE concerts to return for a weekend in August.
- Post 42 is proposing a summer series of live music concerts outdoors at the American Legion. Among other details to be discussed at our meeting are the steps that are being taken to better control the sound from the concerts.
I look forward to hearing your comments on these plans on March 31.
