What you can do now
Please continue to vigilantly follow public health guidelines while you await further notification from the City’s Health and Human Services Department.
The City continues to follow a phased approach to vaccine distribution as outlined by the Illinois Department of Public Health and CDC. This approach is designed to ensure that while vaccine supplies are limited, those most fragile and vulnerable to severe illness and complications from COVID-19 are prioritized. Please note that the pace of vaccine distribution is entirely dependent on the number of doses the City receives on a weekly basis.
To keep you informed, the City will continue to provide weekly vaccination progress updates in our Thursday eNewsletter. If you received this email, you will receive these weekly updates.
Thank you for your patience as we work to distribute vaccines to the community in an efficient and orderly manner.
Please note, if you have already received your COVID-19 vaccination or have scheduled your vaccination appointment, you may disregard this email.
