Traffic Stop Leads to Armed Habitual Criminal and Armed Violence Charges.
EVANSTON, IL - On August 20, 2020 at 8:02 p.m. Evanston Police Detectives were in the area of Ashland and Payne when they initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic infraction.
Upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, an odor of cannabis was detected emanating from the vehicle. Further investigation led to the discovery of weapons, ammunition, and suspect narcotics. All of the vehicle's occupants were arrested and transported to the Evanston Police Department.

-Possession of a Firearm with Expired FOID

-No Firearm's Owner's identification Card
-Failure to wear seatbelt
-Possession of Open Cannabis in Motor Vehicle

Henley Jr., Anthony, male 21 years of age.
1300 block of Fargo, Des Plaines, IL.
Charges
-Possession of Open Cannabis in Motor Vehicle
-Traffic Offenses
A female passenger was released without charges.

Hill is currently in custody. His next court date is August 31, 2020 at the Skokie Courthouse.
Pruitt's next court date is August 31, 2020 at the Skokie Courthouse.
