Evanston Police Identify Victim of the Homicide near the Howard Street Red Line
 EVANSTON, IL - On July 23, 2020, at 1:16 a.m. Evanston Police responded to a shooting in the 300 block of Howard Street. When officers arrived, they located the victim laying on the ground near the CTA Red Line Station. Chicago Fire Department Paramedics attempted to treat the victim, but he was deceased. Evanston Police have identified the victim.

Carrion, Brian
Male Black 20 years of age
10200 block of Dearlove Rd. Glenview, IL.
A second victim, 21 year old male Evanston resident, suffered a graze wound to the head. He was transported to St. Francis Hospital where he was treated and released.
Detectives from the Evanston Police Department and NORTAF Major Crimes Task Force are investigating. There are no suspects custody at this time.
