Work from Home Tip of the Week
Take breaks throughout the day. Make sure to take your lunch hour and a few 15-minute breaks throughout the day. In order to avoid burnout, it's important to get up, walk around, and give yourself time away from your computer screen. Taking proper breaks throughout the day has been proven to increase productivity when you return to your work.

National Public Works Week
This week is National Public Works Week! This year's theme, "The Rhythm of Public Works" encourages citizens to think about their communities as a symphony of essential services, working in concert to create a great place to live. Thank you to all of our Public Works staff who are essential in helping to make Evanston such a great place to live.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Public Works staff have gone above and beyond to keep Evanston safe and clean by power washing bus shelters, continuing special pickup operations and residential recycling collections, providing clean drinking water and more while wearing protective gear.
Have a great day and a great weekend!
Sincerely,
The City of Evanston
