Live broadcasts planned in English and Spanish
EVANSTON, IL - The City of Evanston and Erie Family Health Centers will host two upcoming "Coronavirus Q&As" to provide community members with the latest public health information related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To ensure that more community members can watch and participate in the live question-and-answer sessions, Q&As will be presented separately in English and Spanish.
On Friday, April 24, at 1 p.m., City of Evanston Public Health Manager Greg Olsen will be joined by Dr. Caroline Hoke, M.D., chief clinical officer for Erie Family Health Centers, to answer residents' COVID-19 questions. This Q&A session will be presented in English. As chief clinical officer, Dr. Hoke works closely with Erie's Executive Leadership Team, providers and staff to continue to enhance Erie’s medical services, improve processes, and strengthen relationships with hospital partners. Dr. Hoke has been on staff at Erie for over 15 years, serves as a clinical instructor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and is on staff at Swedish Hospital and Vista Health System.
On Friday, May 1, at 1 p.m., a physician from Erie Family Health Center will join the City of Evanston to answer residents' COVID-19 health questions in Spanish.
Both Q&As will be broadcast on City Channel 16 and streamed on the City's Facebook page and YouTube channel. Residents are encouraged to submit their questions in advance or live during the broadcast using the City's online question forms, available in English and Spanish. Questions may also be submitted by calling or texting 847-448-4311.
These sessions are the latest in the City's "Coronavirus Q&A" series, which provides residents with information and resources related to the coronavirus pandemic. Previous sessions have focused on public health, healthcare, economic development and business resources, government response, mental health, and more. View video playlist.
