SBA Webinar for Evanston Businesses April 1
Please join us Wed., April 1, at 1 p.m. for a free webinar with a representative from the SBA to talk directly with Evanston businesses about federal assistance programs, including the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Advance.

Hospitality Grant Applications Due April 1
The Hospitality Emergency Grant Program applications are due by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1. Recipients will be chosen via lottery and notified by April 4 if they will receive an award.

These grant funds can be used to support working capital like payroll and rent, as well as job training, retraining, and technology to support shifts in operations, like increased pick-up and delivery.
- Bars and restaurants that generated between $500K and $1M in revenue in 2019 are eligible for up to $25,000
- Bars and restaurants that generated less than $500K in revenue in 2019 are eligible for up to $10,000
- Hotels that generated less than $8M in revenue in 2019 are eligible for up to $50,000.
Restaurant Employee Relief Fund
The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) will provide grants to restaurant industry employees who have been adversely impacted by COVID-19, financially, whether through a decrease in wages or loss of employment.

- Each approved grant is $500, one per person only
- Grants awarded on a first-come first-served basis
