DUE TO COVID-19, THE MARCH 28th JOB FAIR HAS BEEN CANCELED.
THERE WILL BE NO JOB READINESS TRAININGS. See cityofevanston.org/msyep for the next steps for summer employment!
Students: there are still jobs!
Although the March 28th job fair has been cancelled, the employment opportunities through the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program remain! Students who are interested in job placement through the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program must register to be considered for employment. If students have already registered for the March 28th job fair, they do not have to complete the form again.
To participate in the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program, a youth must be: an Evanston resident (reside in zip codes 60201 or 60202), be currently enrolled in school, be between the ages of 14-18* and must register for the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program.
*For program eligibility, students must be 14 by program start date in June 2020.
Step One: Register to participate in the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program by March 28, 2020
Completion of the registration form is mandatory to participate in the Mayor's Summer Youth Employment Program.

Step Two: Choose your Top Five jobs by April 1, 2020
After students complete the registration form above, they must go here to select their top five jobs. Students must submit their top five jobs by April 1, 2020. Even if students have registered for summer employment, they must still complete this additional step to select their top five jobs.

Step Three: Prepare to be contacted by employers!
Students may be contacted by potential employers via phone or email starting April 16. Students are asked to update email address and phone number listed on registration to ensure proper communication for job placement.
