POSTPONED: Explorer Program Open House March 12
EVANSTON, IL - UPDATE: As a pre-cautionary measure, tonight's Police Explorer Kick-off event has been POSTPONED in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. A future date and time will be shared once scheduled.
The Evanston Police Department is hosting an open house for the Police Explorer Program. This coed youth program was launched in January 2018, and is designed for high school aged students who are interested in learning more about law enforcement.
Participants get the exciting opportunity to work with and learn from professionals of the Evanston Police Department. The program covers a variety of topics including crime scene techniques, traffic stops, court procedures, and investigations. Explorers have an opportunity to hear from guest speakers and engage in hands-on activities and ride alongs.
