EVANSTON, IL - The City of Evanston, Evanston Police Department, and Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association invite community members to attend "Coffee with a Cop" on Tuesday, November 19.  This event will be hosted by Ten Thousand Villages located at 915 Chicago Avenue and will be held from 9 - 10:30 a.m.

Ten Thousand Villages is part of the oldest and largest Fair Trade organization in North America. Now in their new location at 915 Chicago Avenue, Ten Thousand Villages has been supporting Artisans in 30 developing countries by bringing their products and stories to the North American market these artisans could never reach. Everything in their store was hand made by a fairly paid adult.

Please come join your neighbors and police officers for coffee and conversation, all are welcome.

"Coffee with a Cop" builds upon the Evanston Police Department's community policing efforts and provides a casual space for community members to chat with officers, ask questions, share concerns, or simply talk about sports while sipping a "cup-o-joe" or drink of their choice.

For more information about "Coffee with a Cop", Please call or text 847-448-4311. For convenience, residents can dial 3-1-1 in Evanston or email Officer Daley.
