Bike the Ridge on Sunday!

Bike the Ridge

Pedal up and down Ridge Avenue, from Howard to Church Streets, as part of the annual Bike the Ridge event on Sun., Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Enjoy live music from the Evanston School of Rock, a variety of food trucks, bike registration and repairs, and free bike helmets while supplies last.

National Preparedness Month

National Preparedness Month encourages individuals and families to plan and prepare for emergencies and disasters before they occur. This year's theme is "Prepared, Not Scared." One way to be prepared is by signing up for emergency notification text, email or phone alerts through the EvanstonAlerts system!

Follow the FY2020-21 Budget Process

Budget

The City is preparing a proposed two-year budget for FY2020-21 in order to aid long-term planning. The budget will be presented to City Council in early October. View the City of Evanston Budget Overview for more information about the process. 

Remaining Budget Development Timeline:

  • Friday, October 4: Proposed Budget available on City website
  • Saturday, October 26: Budget Public Hearing at City Council Meeting
  • October and November: Budget discussions at City Council Meetings
  • December 31: Deadline for Budget Adoption

Starlight Movie Series Presents "Hocus Pocus"
