 Due to seasonal lifeguard and beach staff returning to school, the City has announced changes to swimming hours at South Blvd. beach beginning Mon., Aug. 26 through Fri., Aug. 30.

 The “Undesign the Redline” exhibit, created by Designing the WE, has traveled to the 2nd Floor of the Morton Civic Center and will be on display for public viewing through October 20.
Evanston History Center's Annual Gala 8/24
The Evanston History Center will host its annual Gala event, "A Night at the Blind Pig Speakeasy," on Sat., Aug. 24. Guests will enjoy an evening of 1920s-style cocktails, speakeasy-inspired cuisine, and live music.

Northwestern, City Conduct Emergency Response Drills
As part of an ongoing partnership to improve public safety, the City of Evanston and Northwestern University conducted their 5th annual joint Emergency Response Drills this week on the University’s Evanston campus.
